Costume Design
Theatre•2013•Edward A. Kenley Centennial Amphitheater•directed by Mark Fossen

The costumes were colorful, bold, and a blend of historical and modern styles à la Adam Ant and New Wave. Each destined couple shared a particular color scheme so that, after all of the plot's amorous mix-ups and confusion, they matched in the end. The costumes were made of rented, purchased, and up-cycled pieces.

Factoid: A focus of the director's was to explore city vs. forest life, and a return to nature. You can tell how much time a character has spent in the forest (and thus the extent of its influence on the individual) by the amount of flowers on their clothes: more flowers = more time/influence.
